Le 30 juin 2016, l'Observatoire de la compétitivité du ministère de l'Economie a organisé ensemble avec le STATEC une conférence avec le professeur Lino Briguglio intitulée "Do small States fare better in the European Union?"
Lino Briguglio, Economics Professor at the University of Malta, is the editor of an important book on small states in the EU published by Routledge. In his talk, Professor Briguglio has presented the new book “Small States and the European Union: Economic Perspectives” and discussed the intense research activity on small economies. He has given a fresh look at the relative performance of the Luxembourg economy. Professor Briguglio directs the Islands and Small States Institute of the University of Malta and is the author of a large number of publications in various fields.
